Hey there! I'm Jess.

 I like to think of myself as a modern southern lady, born and raised right here in the great state of Florida. There aren't many of us locals left, so you may want to keep me around.
I'm married to a mid-western boy who should've been born southern (his love for buffalo check, bourbon, and manners are strong) and I work at a luxury interior design firm as a design assistant.
It sounds fancy, but really I just order fabric samples and price/order sofas for people. Mostly, I just sit cross-legged at my desk and quietly write in my blog on the company's time mind my own business.
